Equipped with a fleet of more than 600 trucks, ranging from tipper to tank carrier, and its two-plane fleet, the UMS group supports the transport and logistics of a wide range of products: mining, hydrocarbons, miscellaneous goods (cement, agricultural products, etc.), heavy packages and exceptional convoys, dangerous products, etc.
UMS's clients include several industrial companies as well as international and governmental organizations. The group sets up tailor-made solutions adapted to the needs of each of their clients. For example, it provides transport for GIC, the cement leader in Guinea, of more than 1 Mt per year thanks to a dedicated fleet of 55 trucks. The group is the preferred logistics partner of Total and Vivo Energy: it provides transportation services for various types of fuels with a dedicated fleet.
With 4000 employees, the UMS Group is proud of its Guinean roots, with more than 90% of Guinean employees and internal and external training programs aimed at significantly increasing this figure in the short term, in particular by continuing to hire young people from the country.
